Church of the Ascension of the Virgin Mary
Romanian single aisle building using Greek masonry with adjacent tower, but at the end of 12th century. Formerly tribune-like church built at the raised Elbe terrace, creates with the adjacent stronghold and the mill an area called "Hrádek". Between the years 1708 – 1712, the church was rebuilt in Baroque style and enlarged. The rostrum is in Renaissance style with the shield of Kautský of Kostelec, altars are in Baroque style. In 16th century, the area around the church used as a cemetery was fortified with own wall.
Stronghold
Countryside mansion of aristocrats. In the era of strongholds, a wooden stronghold used to be located here built on stone bedding. Around the year 1300, storied brick building was built here. It was lowered in 1730 and a mansard roof was added. At the end of 15th century, the stronghold was enlarged by northern storied wing. In 16th century, farm building was built, now called the yard wing and the space was enclosed by a fortified wall with gates in eastern and western part of the wall. The stronghold, reconstructed between the years 1973 and1982, is now used for the purposes of the Town Museum.
Deanery
East of the church is located storied building with palace characteristics with a mansard roof. It was built thanks to dean Jan Bedřich Jeník, knight of Zásadsko of Kamzíkov in 1782 using requiem mass money collected for the needs of the deanery.
Town hall – seat of the municipal office
New Baroque building from the year 1911 built in just under one year used the same ground plan as the old town hall, which dated its origins back to 16th century.
Volman´s Villa
Important functionalistic building based on project of Jiří Štursa and Karel Janů built by Čelákovice builder Karel Bíbr in 1939. Thanks to its value, it belongs to the best examples of functionalistic architecture in the country.
Sculpture of St. Jan Nepomucký
Sandstone Baroque sculpture with a chronogram (1732) and shield of Jan Baltazar Voříkovský of Kundratice, who had this piece created.
Sculpture of Virgin Mary
Folk Baroque sculpture from the year 1641 located in an alcove no. 13 at May 5th Square.
Cross in front of the town hall
Sandstone folk stonemason work from the year 1823 with decorative relief. The cross is located on the spot of wooden missionary cross from the year 1628.
